Murphy Jacobs was born on April 14, 1949 in Slickville, Pennsylvania, On December 13, 2021, Murphy Jacobs, 72, went home to be with his heavenly Father, Lord and Savior whom he found joy in serving throughout his life.

He was a beloved husband to his wife of 45 years, Donna (Leh); a loving father to three daughters, Sherry Ullman, Birdsboro; Kelly (Jacobs) Tyler, wife of Michael Tyler of Salem, NY; DonnaMarie (Ullman) Rivenbark, fiance of John Perrott, Douglassville; and one son, Richard Jacobs, husband of Kimberly (White) of Venice, FL. He is also survived by his sisters: Chauncey, wife of William Saunders of Export, PA; Joyce, wife of Sam Miller of Souderton; sister, Robin, wife of Michael Mutnansky of Latrobe; and one brother, Gary Jacobs of Blossburg, PA. four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother, Anna Pearl (Keebler) and his father, Moody Jacobs.

Murphy was a Chemical Processor for 43 Years at Kiwi. He was a devoted family man -- Everyone knew how much he loved his wife and treasured the time spent together with her and the family. In his younger years, he was an avid runner, enjoyed bowling, fishing, bike rides with his sweetheart, and many other activities. He was known for his innate ability to make anything shine, which was his lifelong passion. It is this that inspired him to begin his side car- detailing business for a short time known as Murphy's Magic Shine. He will always be remembered as a helpful, positive, uplifting man-- truly a selfless person who was very much loved and will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Coventry Church of the Brethren in Pottstown.
