Monica R White

Monica R. (Kovach) White 90, wife of the late John R. White, passed away, Thursday, January 25, 2024 at

Pottstown Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was the daughter of the late George M. and Anna (Guman) Kovach.

She was born November 3, 1933 in Pottstown. Monica was a graduate of Pottstown High School Class of 51.' She grew up in Pottstown her entire life and resided with her daughter, Claudia of South Street. She worked at Mrs. Smith's Pie Company and Firestone Tire and Rubber Company for many years. In 1998,

Monica retired from Pottstown School District. Monica loved nothing more then going to see her grandchildren's sporting and musical events. She truly was a devoted mother, grandmom and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Debra Baldwin, Claudia White, Dwight White (wife Stacey), grandchildren: Bridget Volinskie (husband Geoff), Rebecca Baldwin, Evan White, great grandchildren, Colton Volinskie and Cooper Volinskie.

Monica is predeceased by her brothers Richard Kovach, Albert Kovach and Robert Kovach.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Pottstown. A public viewing will be held prior to Mass from 9:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. in the Gathering Center at the Church.

Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery.
