Miguel Acevedo-Santiago, 86, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 while surrounded by his loved ones.
He was a son of the late Jesús Acevedo and Hermenegilda Santiago.
Miguel had a talent for playing guitar and singing. He was an avid lover of horses and cars. One thing he enjoyed to do was share the Gospel with family and friends.
Miguel leaves behind his memories to be cherished by his children: Miguel Acevedo Jr., husband of Melitza Acevedo Wilson Acevedo-Perez, husband of Dorothy Acevedo-Perez, Carmen Thompson, wife of Anthony Thompson, Maritza Acevedo and Daly Acevedo-Smith. A brother, Juan Acevedo, grandchildren: Miguel A. Acevedo, III, Tyair J. Brown, Tony L. Betts, Jr., Christopher Betts, Dominique Acevedo, Erik Acevedo, Marcus T. Smith, Lewis Scott, Amber Torres, Shantelle Brown, Tiffany Garcia, Amaris Acevedo, Carlie J. Kulp and Tiffany Davis. His great grandchildren: Iyana Acevedo, Natalia T. Brown, Jason Garcia, Dayliah Gans, Tony L. Betts III, Malanah Gans, Lilliana Garcia, Julian M. Betts, Arianah Gans, Amani Fox, Tyair J. Brown, Jr, Oscan Gans, III, Sophia Betts, Karter Garcia, TJ Garcia, Dalylah Betts, Zoe Betts, Katiliana Brown, Zeriah Fairel, Evalee Wyatt, Brysin Wyatt, Malahkhy Wyatt , Kingston Scott Kring, Sophia Acevedo, Noah Acevedo, Damian Miller, Nova Lynn Scott and Suhlay Nelson.
He is predeceased by a brother, Carmelo Acevedo-Santiago.
A service will be held on June 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown. A viewing will be held prior to service from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories.
