Michael R Hegedus

Michael Richard Hegedus, 88, of Pottstown, PA, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Michael and Ella (Repovsky) Hegedus. He graduated from Pottstown High School in 1950. He was previously employed by Vishay Technologies and Smiths Aerospace Industries in Malvern until his retirement in 1994, and received an electronics degree from DeVry Technical Institute in 1957.

Survivors include: sisters, Mary Hegedus; Rita Ferraro; Ann Worrall; brothers, Ronald and Donald.

He was predeceased by brothers, Paul, George, John, Joseph, Robert, James, and a sister, Monica Rapchinski.

His beloved wife, Nina DiGiosia Hegedus, whom he married on June 18, 1955, passed in 1985.

A visitation will be held from 9 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Holy Trinity Church located at 366 South st., Pottstown.

A private funeral Mass, due to COVID, will be held for family only.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in memory of Michael Hegedus to Save the Children – or the charity of your choice.
