Mary Jane Rizzardi

Mary Jane Rizzardi, 83, wife of John O. Rizzardi of Pottstown, PA died Sunday February 16, 2014 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Mary Jane and John were married on July 4, 1953 and had celebrated sixty years together. Born in Port Carbon, PA she was the daughter of the late John C. and Catherine G. (Scally) Doyle. Mary Jane was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. and also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians where she had served as a past president. Surviving with her husband are two sons John J. Rizzardi husband of Donna and Thomas R. Rizzardi husband of Susan both of Pottstown. She is also survived by a daughter Mary Ann wife of Russell Lightcap also of Pottstown and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also pre-deceased by a brother John J. Doyle. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech Street Pottstown, PA on Thursday February 20, 2014 at 1:15 P.M. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:15 – 1:15 P.M. in the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius R.C.C.
