Mary F Petrillo

Mary (Altomari) Petrillo, 84, wife of the late George Petrillo, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Born in Monessen, West Moreland County, Pa, at home to Luigi and Mariannina (Altimari) Altomari, Mary was one of six children.

Mary graduated from Monessen High School. She was a former employee at Valley Forge General Hospital Post Exchange and former Judge of Elections in Pottstown. She was an avid reader. Mary enjoyed family dinners and vacations at the shore. Mary was a member of St. Aloysius Church and a lifelong supporter of the school and church, along with her husband George. She always put her family first and kept in touch with her extended family all over the world. Mary received joy from her years as Nonni of Joseph.

She is survived by her two children: a son Joe Petrillo, husband of Jeanne, Texas, and daughter Louise Petrillo, Pottstown. Mary was a loving Grandmother of Melissa Wells, husband of JD Wells, Texas; Michaela Dylag, Texas and Zach Dylag, husband of Sukie Zeng, California; and Joseph Petrillo, Pottstown and Aunt to many beloved family.

Along with her parents and beloved husband, Mary is predeceased by siblings: Guido Altomari (Wife Maryann), Ernest Altomari (Wife Stella), Americo Altomari (Wife Eva) and Paul Altomari (Wife Dolores).

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11 A.M. at St. Aloysius Church, Pottstown. A viewing will be held prior to Mass from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in St. Aloysius Gathering Center.
