Mary L. Harris

Mary Lee Harris, 84, peacefully passed away in Atlanta Georgia on Sunday, November 13,2022

Born January 19,1938 in Tally Ho, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Herman Lee Harris and Margaret (Maggie) Day Harris. She moved to Canton, OH In the late 1950's for 50 years until she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.

Mary was a dedicated employee of The Hoover Company in Canton, Ohio. She was fondly known in Canton as Jewel by friends and Granny by all of her Grandchildren's friends in Canton and Atlanta. Loved by so many and always ready to pack a bag and go to Atlanta to help with great-granddaughter Maggie when her granddaughter Nicole relocated to Atlanta, Georgia during the school year and she would bring Maggie back to Canton, Ohio for the summer until she made Atlanta her permanent home, Mary is survived by her daughter Robyn Bell of Canton, OH, grandchildren, Nicole Bell of Atlanta, GA and Alex Gordon of Canton, OH, one great granddaughter Maggie Bell of, Atlanta, GA, Three sisters,, Nancy (Harris) Owens, Pottstown PA: Janice Harris, Sanatoga, PA, and Barbara Harris, Bethlehem, PA, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her celebration of life service on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Warker - Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown PA 19464 followed by burial in Second Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to services from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. on Saturday.
