Mary Gatta

Mary (Castenova) Gatta, 90, widow of Anthony Gatta died Monday evening November 26, 2012 at Hearthstone at Amity in Douglassville, PA . Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Billitta) Castenova. Mary had worked as a hairdresser for many years and then as an inspector for Stanley G. Flagg Co. in Stowe, PA . She was a member of St. Gabriel's R.C.C. Howard & Jefferson Streets in Stowe, PA . Surviving is a daughter Janet wife of Dominic Gentile of Stowe . Also two grandchildren Todd Gentile of Houston, Tx and Tracey Gentile Staas of Tampa, FL . She is also survived by three great-grandchildren Brendon and Brett Staas and Jeffrey Berg. Also, two step great-grandchildren Melissa Barbery and Jesse Leininger. Mary is also survived by a brother Jack Castenova, husband of Joanne of East Norriton, PA . She was pre-deceased by four brothers Joseph, Anthony, Charles and James Castenova and two sisters Lena Michlen and Grace Price. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Gabriel's R.C.C. on Saturday December 1, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Thomas A. Nasta , pastor officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA A viewing will be Saturday from 9 – 10:30 A.M. at the church.
