Mary Rose Dutzer

Mary Rose (Oshirak) Dutzer,89, widow of Stephen M. Dutzer, Sr. of North Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Oshirak. She was a sewing machine operator, first in Wilkes Barre where she made flags during World War II and then at the former Sunset Manufacturing Company of Pottstown, PA . She was a member of St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church , 301 Cherry Street, Pottstown, PA . Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is a son Stephen M. Dutzer of Pottstown, PA and a daughter Maryann wife of David R. Weiser of Douglassville, PA . She is also survived by six grandchildren, Nikolas, Kathryn and Christopher Dutzer and Matthew, Brian and Kelly Weiser and two great –grandchildren Brittany and Riley Dutzer. Mary is pre-deceased by five brothers Michael, John, Paul, Theodore and Constanty Oshirak. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church on Thursday March 29, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery. A viewing will be on Thursday from 9 – 10 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with Parastas services at 10 A.M., also at the funeral home.
