Mary A. Benne

Mary A. (Luft) Benne, age 98, of Pottstown, PA, entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2026, at Manatawny Manor. She was the wife of the late Frank Benne.

Born on July 22, 1927, to the late Frederick and Anna (Fedeick) Luft, Mary was a vibrant spirit whose life was characterized by kindness, strength, and an unwavering love for her family. With a high school diploma under her belt, she dedicated her career to the sewing industry, where her craftsmanship was matched only by the warmth of her heart.

Mary embraced life with enthusiasm, often inspiring those around her. As a young girl, she loved sports-especially basketball and field hockey-and maintained an active lifestyle throughout her life. Her passion for cooking and baking was evident in the delicious meals and treats she lovingly prepared for family and friends. Known for her compassion, Mary frequently offered her help to neighbors in need, especially during difficult times.

In her quiet moments, she found joy in reading and cherishing the company of her family. Her legacy of love, generosity, and community spirit will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her two sons and a sister Katherine Seponski.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at St. John's Byzantine Church, Pottstown. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick. As we gather to honor Mary's life, let us remember her legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all.
