Marvin W Thrasher

Marvin W. Thrasher Jr., 73, husband of the loving Antoinette M. (Morello), passed away January 28, 2025 at his residence.

He was a son of the late Ramona (Conklin), Marvin W. Thrasher Sr. and step father Fred P. Morton, who raised him as his own son.

Marvin is a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was born in Johnson City, New York and eventually moved to Pottstown. Marvin worked at Doehler-Jarvis Company in the productions until the plant closed in 2001. He later worked for Pottsgrove School District as a custodian before retiring. He was a lifetime member of the German Club, member of Vietnam Veterans of America, a Junior Fireman for Gilbertsville Fire Company, member of Skyline Cruisers-Street Rod Association and Forgotten Tin Street Rod Club. Marvin enjoyed spending time regularly with his Breakfast Club and Card Gang. Silver sneakers, "Ice Cream Friends" was a morning conversation held over the past several years while at the Careplex Fitness Center.

Along with his wife, Marvin leaves behind his memories to be cherished by his children, Troy A. Miller (wife Bridget) and Alexis K. Miller. A brother Edward Thrasher (wife Dalisa), sister Donna Conrad (husband David), six nieces, three nephews, four great nieces and two great nephews.

He is predeceased by a sister, Patricia Rhoads.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown. A service will follow at 11 a.m.
