Marlene Fagley

Marlene A. (Koropka) Fagley, 83, wife of the late J. Russel Fagley, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Pottstown Hospital. She was born in Pottstown on August 1 st , 1942, and graduated from Pottstown High School, Class of 1960.

She was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Zipay) Koropka.

Marlene retired from Diamond Glass/Anchor Glass, she then went on to work at Mrs. Smith's Pies until their Closure. Marlene also worked at the Hill School in the food service department.

Watching her grandsons play their various sports from their youth through their college years was her greatest joy. As they transitioned into young adults, she was proud of the fine young men they became and what they have accomplished. She also enjoyed shopping at Boscov's with her daughter and buying more clothes than she needed.

Marlene loved to cheer on her favorite football teams: U.S. Naval Academy, University of Alabama, and the Denver Broncos. When she wasn't watching the Food or Gameshow Networks, she would scroll through Facebook or play games on her tablet. Marlene also enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the deer on the property or waving to passengers on the Colebrookdale train as it went by the house.

Marlene leaves behind her memories to be cherished by her daughter Kristina Pennypacker (husband Scott), two grandsons Mason and Logan Pennypacker, and sister Cheryl Chiarello. Also, her beloved nieces and nephew Darlene, Donna, Arlene, Gail, Josephine and David, and especially Reeniewho spent time with her and took her to various craft shows and Elvis impersonator performances. As well as our dog Willow, who loved to sit on the porch with her or share her breakfast.

She is predeceased by a sister Virginia Weidner, nephews Donald and Thomas Weidner and niece Audrey Chiarello.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. A time for sharing of memories and stories for Marlene will begin at 11 a.m.
