Mark Dennis Lightcap

Mark Dennis Lightcap, 69, husband of Joyce (Shantz) Lightcap, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Pottstown Hospital.

He was a son of the late Mark J. and Marianne (Kirk) Lightcap.

Mark was a graduate of Shippensburg University Class of '76. He was the Vice President and Officer of Data Flo Plus for 32 years.

In his later years, he was an avid worker and employed by Parx Casino, Redners, and Sodexo. Those that knew him know how much he loved all Philadelphia Sports. He loved spending time with all of his family.

Along with his loving wife, Mark is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Lightcap, sister Cathy Roeseler (companion Thomas Mazurek) and grandson, Jude Lightcap. Along with the rest of his loving family members, he is survived by his nephews: Eric Quigg(Sheila), Troy Roeseler(Justina) and his two daughters.

He is predeceased by his nephew Brian Quigg.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St. Aloysius R.C. Church at 11 a.m. A visitation will be prior to Mass from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. in the Gathering Center.

Inurnment will be in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery.

Donations may be made to St. Aloysius Church in honor of Mark.
