Marjorie Joan Souder

Marjorie Joan Souder,83, widow of Wilmer Souder, Jr. of North Charlotte Street, Pottstown, PA died Friday September 28, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ella (Churach) Stofko. Marjorie had worked at Growing Dreams Daycare in Boyertown, PA for over twenty years. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity R.C.C. 370 South Street, Pottstown, PA . She was a member of the Rosary Club of St. Philip Neri R.C.C. in Pennsburg, PA and was an active volunteer for the Developmental Enterprise Corporation in Pottstown, PA. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafting and sports. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are five children Paula Anne Souder of Perkiomenville, PA, Stephen T. Souder husband of Colette of Maryville, Tennessee, Lisa Anne wife of John R. Henry of Bourne, Massachusetts, Cynthia Jane wife of Daniel N. Giannini of Glenside, PA and Andrew M. Souder husband of Mary Catherine of Perkiomenville, PA. Also, fourteen grandchildren Claire, Sean & Conor Henry, Kathleen, John, Mary, Anne, Dominic and Clare Souder and Regina, Patrick, Matthew, Veronica and Maria Souder. She is also survived by two brothers Eugene Stofko husband of Phyllis of Green Valley, Arizona and Paul Stofko of Fountain Hills, Arizona and many devoted nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Trinity R.C.C. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 10 A,M. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stowe, PA . A viewing will be Wednesday evening from 7 – 9 P.M. and Thursday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA.
