Marjorie Lee Rettew

Marjorie Lee (Diener) Rettew, 81, of Pottstown, passed away in her home on Friday, November 13, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Cullen Rettew.

Born in Baltimore, MD on August 19, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Robert, Sr. and Catherine (Sassaman) Diener. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Pottstown. She was employed with LukOil in customer service and then with WaWa in Limerick.

Marjorie enjoyed being with her family and friends and traveling to the shore. She adored Johnny Mathis and went to see him many times. Marjorie also enjoyed taking trips to the casino with her friends.

Surviving are her two children: Brian J. Rettew of Royersford and Tiffany A. Rettew of Somers Point, NJ; two grandchildren, Donald and Jordan Chattin of Somers Point, NJ; a brother, Robert Diener, Jr. and his wife, Elaine of Pottstown and Jackie (Diener) Meyer of Bucktown.

Marjorie is predeceased by a sister, Virginia (Diener) Arters.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Warker ~ Troutman Funeral Home, Inc., Pottstown is assisting the family.
