With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marguerite V. Hutt, 93, on February 14, 2026, at the Dresher Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Washington, PA. Born on March 4, 1932, in Birdsboro, PA, Marguerite was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Angeline (Derenzo) Milloni. She was also sister to six older siblings (who knew her as "Margie"), wife of the late Donald R. Hutt, and mother of their five children.
Marguerite was a 1950 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Reading, PA, and held several administrative positions throughout her long life before retiring from the Pottsgrove School District.
Marguerite's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Church, attended Mass regularly, and was also active at the Padre Pio Church in Bally, PA. She enjoyed bus trips to various shrines and pilgrimage sites and, in 1999, took the trip of a lifetime to Rome together with family friend, Deb Hertz. An avid reader, her home was filled with devotional books, pamphlets, cards, and pictures.
The shore was one of Marguerite's favorite places in the world and she held a special fondness for lighthouses. Throughout the years she vacationed at various regional shore points like Wildwood, NJ, and Rehoboth Beach, DE, and one time took an unforgettable trip to Maine where she explored the spectacular lighthouses.
Above all, Marguerite was kind and generous, always putting the welfare of others before herself. She was the tireless advocate for her special needs son throughout his life. She became a volunteer at Pottstown Hospital immediately upon retirement. She cared for several of her older siblings in their last years. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was a model of perseverance and compassion to her whole family.
Marguerite's memory will be treasured by her sons: David J. Hutt (wife Joanne), Steven J. Hutt (wife Jill), and Thomas R. Hutt (wife Cathy Mazza); her grandchildren Jason Miller, Kristen Conrad, Michael Hutt, Kelly Hutt, Helena Calkap, and Henry Hutt; and her great-grandchildren David, Devran, Dominic, Chase, and Ashlyn.
She is predeceased by her sons Donald "Don" Hutt, Joe Hutt, and daughter-in-law Kathleen "Kathy" (Hertz) Hutt, as well as her siblings James Milloni, Frances DiCecco, Palma Kordopatis, Ralph Milloni, John Milloni, and Lucy Fiorini.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, Pottstown. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the Church.
Burial will follow in St. Aloysius New Cemetery.
