Margaret J. Poncheri

Margaret J. (Rupert) Poncheri, 91, widow of Peter C. Poncheri of Stowe, PA passed away on Sunday November 17, 2019 at Sanatoga Center, Sanatoga, PA. Margaret and Peter had been married for 66 years. Born in Ringtown, PA she was the dauhgter of the late Maurice and Sarah (Ulschafer) Rupert. Margaret was a homemaker and had also sold Avon products for 44 years. She was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. 127 E. Howard St., Stowe, PA and a member of its womans society. She was enrolled in the Avon Honor Society and at one time had been a constable with West Pottsgrove Township. Surviving are two sons Larry Poncheri and Peter C. Poncheri, Jr. and his wife Anne of Bernville, PA . She is also survived by two daughters Thalia wife of Jeffrey Sotter of Vero Beach, FL and Alice wife of James Kulp of Sanatoga, PA. She is also survived by two brothers Thomas Rupert of Coudersport, PA and James Rupert husband of Nancy of South Tamaqua, PA and seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. on Friday November 22, 2019 at 10 A.M. A viewing will be held in the church Friday from 9-10 A.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research c/o P.O.
