Margaret E. Fiore

Margaret Elizabeth Fiore, 89 of Pottstown and formerly of Coatesville, PA passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020. She leaves behind her husband of almost 60 years of marriage, James M. Fiore; a daughter: Deborah (Robert) Grillo; two sons: Robert (Donna) Mattson and Bill Mattson; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a sister: Nancy Arment. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: William B and Edna M Jacobs; great granddaughter: Makenna Massi; brothers: Mike and Jack Jacobs; and sister: Linda Leonard. Marge was born on August 4, 1930 in Lancaster, PA. "Sis" had many great memories of growing up and working on the farm alongside her parents and siblings. On October 15, 1960, Jim and Marge married. They built their home together in Coatesville, where they were surrounded by family. Marge was dedicated to serving and caring for her loved ones. Her consistent presence of always being there was a comfort to many. Marge's door was always open with a listening ear at her kitchen table. Marge spent a lot of her time in the kitchen, effortlessly perfecting her delicious macaroni and cheese, pie crust and of course, Mom-Mom's famous potato salad. She loved to pass on her cooking expertise to her family. Marge also enjoyed watching the Phillies, trips to Atlantic City, vacationing at the shore, and making memories with those she loved so very much.
