Margaret M. Daniel

Margaret M. Daniel, 87, of East High Street Pottstown, PA died Thursday January 13, 2011 at her son's residence in Exeter Township. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Stephen & Mary (Ferko) Petro. Margaret had first worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Pottstown Shirt Factory for 21 years. She next worked as a food service worker for Valley Forge Hospital for 5 years. She last worked as a dietary department worker at the Montgomery County Geriatric Center now Parkhouse Providence Point for 15 years from where she retired in 1988. She was a member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, Cherry Street in Pottstown, PA where she was a member of the church choir, guild and Legion of Mary. Surviving are two sons, Allison D, Daniel husband of Brenda of Exeter Township, Mark S. Daniel husband of Elena of Steelton, PA. She is also survived by a daughter Constance M. wife of Frank M. Kislan of Germany. Also, five grandchildren Joel & Michele Kislan, Travis & Ryan Daniel & Ronald Taylor. Also, six great-grandchildren Aston & Carter Daniel, Jordan, Zacrey & Cody Taylor and Randy Laski. Also a sister Madeline wife of George Shanta of Pottstown, PA . She is pre-deceased by a brother Leonard Petro and two sisters Bertha Amole and Irene Petro. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church on Tuesday January 18, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 7-8:30 P.M. and Tuesday from 8:30-9:15 A.M. with Parastas services at 9:15 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA. Interment will be in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church Building Fund 301 Cherry Street Pottstown, PA 19464.
