Marcus Wade

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marcus Wade, 55, who left us peacefully on March 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. 

Born on October 10, 1970, in Pottstown, PA, Marcus was a cherished son to his father Howard Charles (wife Charlotte Charles), and his late mother Fayetta "Peggy" (Wade) Whitehurst (husband Marvin Whitehurst), and he proudly served as a veteran of the U.S. Army.Marcus had a zest for life that was infectious. He found joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was watching the captivating cars on Cruise Night along High Street or bringing a spine-tingling thrill to his work at Pennhurst Asylum.

 A dedicated worker at Unifirst, he didn't just focus on tasks; he brought warmth and humor to those around him. Marcus had a unique passion for the world of fantasy, often diving into the realms of World of Warcraft, tarot card readings, science fiction, and anime. His love for family shone brightly, especially during those wonderful cookouts at his father's house, where laughter and love were always on the menu.

In addition to his father, Marcus is survived by his siblings: Scott Wade (wife Rebecca), Tabitha Thomas (husband Albert Jr), Bianca Charles (husband Myran Brinkly), Eugene Charles, Justin Charles, Natasha Charles, Howard B, Charles (wife Neshay), and a host of beloved family members, including his nieces and nephews, who will cherish his memory forever.

Marcus is predeceased by his grandmothers, Ruth Wade and Yvonne Maldanado.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc. in Pottstown, following the viewing there will be a Celebration of Life ceremony at 11:30 a.m. This gathering will allow family and friends to come together to share stories, reminisce, and honor the vibrant spirit of Marcus Wade-an extraordinary soul whose impact will be felt for years to come.

In this time of sorrow, we invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Marcus, a loving family member, a loyal friend, and a man who touched the hearts of everyone he met.
