Mamie R. Ciccone

Mamie "Philamena" R. Ciccone, 94, widow of Anthony J. Ciccone of Boyertown, PA passed away on Friday February 28, 2014 at her daughter's residence also in Boyertown, PA. Born in Douglassville, PA she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Pasquelina (Canceliere) Maddona. Mamie was a sewing machine operator for Yocum Knitting Mill formerly of Stowe, PA for over twenty years. She dedicated her life to living and working on her farm where she was born. She especially loved gardening on the farm. She was a member of St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. 127 East Howard Street, Stowe, PA Surviving is a daughter Rosemarie "Luke" wife of John L. Bauman with whom Mamie resided in Boyertown, PA and a son James Ciccone of Douglassville, PA . She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and three grand puppies. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. on Thursday March 6, 2014 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Stowe, PA . Her viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:30-10:45 A.M. at the church. Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA is in charge of arrangements.
