Louis Anthony Visco, Jr. of Elverson, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 8th, 2022 in his home, surrounded by loved ones.
He grew up in West Philadelphia, and attended Saint Thomas Moore High School. He served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He worked for Bell Telephone/AT&T for 30 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a fisherman, a pilot, and an entrepreneur, owning several businesses including a TV repair shop and a specialty food store, as well as being a co-owner with his wife Mary of El Video and the 4th Street Cafe, both beloved establishments in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. He found fulfillment in a third career as a safety inspector for telecommunications companies. He is now at peace with his wife Mary in the afterlife.
He is survived by daughters Kristan Lewis and Heather Hurlock, sons-in-law, Steve Lewis and Eric Hurlock, and was a loving grandfather to Aaron, Jameson, Elena, Iris and Hazel, a protective brother to Fran, Christina, and Monica Visco, and a fun uncle to many dear nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held in his honor at 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. on July 16th, 2022 at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The memorial service will start at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Louis' honor to Buddy Poppy, VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) https://www.vfw.org/buddypoppy
