Lloyd R. Christman

Lloyd R. Christman, 83, husband of the late Marjorie (Knopp) Christman, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

He was the son of the late Lloyd H. and Edna M. (Reed) Christman.

Lloyd was born at home in East Greenville, PA and grew up in Palm, PA. He graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School. He worked for Doehler-Jarvis for over 30 years before retiring and then went on to work for McKissic and Wawa.

Lloyd was a member of Mont-Berks CB Club for over 40 years, a member of St. Gabe's Lodge of Stowe, and a member of Pikeville Sportmen's Association. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and gardening. He loved to cook and he handcrafted beautiful accessories out of leather. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, the cooking shows and listening to old country music. Lloyd was a jack-of-all-trades. In addition to Lloyd's love for his family and pets, he loved talking to people and had an excellent memory; he never forgot a face. As a young man, he loved roller skating and was quite good. It was at Ringing Rocks Roller Skating Rink, where he met the love of his life, Marjorie. They were married for 57 wonderful years before her passing in 2020.

Lloyd leaves behind his memories to be cherished by his daughters, Megan Christman, Lori (Seyler) Christman, grandson, Joshua Seyler, the beloved family dog, Bennington and cousins: Gladys, Jean and Carol.

Along with his parents, Lloyd is predeceased by his infant sister, Gloria Christman and sister Mildred Thomas.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc., Pottstown from 2 pm to 3 pm. A service will follow at 3 pm.

Burial is private.
