Larry Stopfel

Larry C. Stopfel, 71 husband of Mary Ann (Spiezio) Stopfel of Lower Pottsgrove Twp. passed away Friday July 25, 2014 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Palmyra, PA he was the son of Elwood and Bernice (Batdorf) Stopfel. Larry was employed as a tire builder by the Firestone Corp. and later as a machinist by the Neapco Corp. He was a US Navy veteran. Surviving with his wife is a son Mark Stopfel and his wife Gina of Norristown. A daughter Lori Lingenfelter of Pottstown. Granddaughter Alyssa. A brother Elwood. Sisters Jean, Doris, Kay, Nancy, Linda, Joanne and Mary Lou. Predeceased by grandson Mark Jr. and sister Lorraine. Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday July 31, 2014 at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 High St. Pottstown. A viewing will be held Thursday 9 to 10:45 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American HeartAssoc.
