Larry Childers

Larry Childers, 76, of Pottstown, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Friends and relatives are invited to his funeral services Thursday, April 6, with the viewing from 9:30 – 10:45 and mass at 11:00 at St. Teresa of Calcutta parish church, Swamp Pike, Limerick. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Larry's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678. Larry was married to Annette (Mack) who passed in 2015. They had one son, Jason, who passed in 2005. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Shuker, of Rome, Georgia. Larry, son of Clyde and Blanche (Montgomery) Childers, worked as a barber in a shop on Charlotte St., Pottstown, and had careers at Firestone, Smith-Kline and later at Quest Diagnostics.
