Kent Lee Carpenter, loving husband to his wife Vanessa (Faison) Carpenter, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 15th, 2024.

Born on June 17th, 1963 to the late Robert and Shirley M. (Walton) Carpenter.

Kent was a supervisor at Viant Medical in Royersford, where he was highly respected and loved by his work family.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend; you could always count on him to be there when you needed him and to lend a helping hand. Kent recently received his CDL and was employed by Klein Bus Company; and later with Pottstown Transit.

He had many hobbies; fishing, especially deep-sea fishing, biking, exercising, and lifting weights. He was also an avid runner. Kent participated in the Philadelphia Broad Street Run where he was extremely proud of completing and was preparing to run in the New York City Marathon.

Kent enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends and his cousin Nubi. He was a huge

Philadelphia sports fan; you could always catch him watching the Eagles and the 76ers. Kent was a foodie and loved good home cooking, soul food, and trying new foods on his date nights with his wife Vanessa.

He was a jokester, you could always catch him joking around with somebody. He was also a profound family man that loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Kent liked going to the beach and was recently able to celebrate his 60th birthday in the Florida Keys with his wife.

Along with his wife, Kent leaves behind his memories to be cherished by his children; Aubree Lee Carpenter, Cory Sowers (wife Ashlynn), mother-in-law, Freida Faison, brothers; Van Carpenter, Marcus Carpenter (wife Izetta Hewlet), Ramon Carpenter, Scotty Carpenter, Walter Gibson (wife Tracy), sisters, Gwen Carpenter, Tanya Stinson (husband Derrick). Five grandchildren; Cory Sowers Jr., Corine Sowers, Cassidy Sowers, Cali-Ray Sowers, and Cayla Sowers, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Including his parents, Kent is predeceased by a brother, Cory Carpenter and sister, Daphne Carpenter.

Services will be private for family only.
