Kenneth M. Anthony

Kenneth M. Anthony, 85, husband of Phyllis (Casale) Anthony of Pottstown, PA passed away on Thursday June 4, 2015 at the Coatesville Veteran Affairs Medical Center Hospice Coatesville, PA . Born in Hazleton, PA he was the son of the late Mahlon R. and Helen C. (Silvernell) Anthony. Ken was a technical illustrator for Sanders & Thomas Company in Pottstown, PA and was an Art teacher at Northern Chester County Vo Tech School for 17 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the Pottstown Artists Guild and the Engineering Society at Sanders & Thomas. Ken was an accomplished artist and has a Master's Degree from Temple University. Surviving with his wife is a son Kenneth M. Anthony II husband of Grace of Harmony, Florida and a daughter Helen M. Waldt wife of David A. of Pottstown, PA . Ken is also survived by five grandchildren Jason, Darren and Hannah Waldt and Sergio and Julian Anthony. A funeral service will be Tuesday June 9, 2015 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Joseph L. Maloney, Pastor of St. Aloysius R.C.C. officiating. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
