Katie H. Jump

Katie H. Jump, 74, widow of Thomas J. Jump of Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, East Coventry Township and formerly of Pottstown, PA passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017 at Manatawny Manor. Born in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Ruby (Stevens) Pennypacker. Katie had worked for many years as a secretary. She was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA where she was also a member of the church's senior citizens. Katie enjoyed Knitting and going out to diner with her friends and playing with her granddaughter. Surviving is a son Thomas C. Jump husband of Jennifer of Pottstown, PA and a daughter Teresa L wife of Derek Jackson of Palmyra, PA . She is also survived by a granddaughter Lilyanne Jump and a sister Billie Beard of Avon Park, Florida. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Wednesday August 9, 2017 at 11 A.M. A viewing will be held in the church's gathering center from 9:30-10:45 A.M. Wednesday prior to the Mass. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Katie's name to Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries in care of Manatawny Manor Nursing Home 30 Old Schuylkill Road Pottstown, PA 19465.
