Kathryn M. Kacanda

Kathryn M. Kacanda, 61, wife of Stephen Kacanda of Boyertown, PA passed away at Pottstown Hospital on Sunday July 7, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late William J. and Roberta (Stooler) Lear. Katherine had workd as a supervisor in the manufacturing industry for many years. She was a member of the Gablesville Athletic Association, Liberty Fire Company of New Berlinville and the Keystone Fire Co. of Boyertown, PA . Surviving with her husband are two sons Christopher Lear husband of Anna of Bally, PA and Jason Bald husband of Shannon of Douglassville, PA. She is also survived by a daughter Jackie Westberry of Philadelphia. She is survived by a brother David Lear husband of Robin of Philadelphia, PA and two sisters Dorothy Keenan-Woods of Philadelphia and Victoria Walker wife of Ed also of Philadelphia. She is pre-deceased by a sister Christine Elliot formerly of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are nine grandchildren Alexa, Breanna, Ciara, Chris, Dylan, Jocelyn, Chris, Tyler and Joey. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday July 20, 2019 at 2 P.M. at her son Jason's residence ; 7 Maple Terrace Douglassville, PA 19518. The family will receive friends starting on Saturday at 1 P.M. Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA is in charge of arrangements.
