Kathleen T. O'Connor

Kathleen (Kathy) Theresa O'Connor, aged 68 years, passed away on July 19, 2019, at her residence, Stabon Manor, in Reading, PA. Born in Pottstown on November 27, 1950, Kathy graduated from St. Pius X High School.  She was the beloved daughter of the late Jack and Margaret (Burke) O'Connor. Kathy will be remembered as a shining beam of light and happiness to all of her family and friends, and to all those whose lives she touched in her lifetime. She overcame life's struggles and exemplified a life filled with joy of simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading, bingo, shopping, and spending time with her beloved friends and family.  She mastered the art of living in the joy of the present moment, and will always be remembered as possessing the wonderment of a young girl at heart. Kathy is survived by her 3 siblings: Jacky O'Connor of Boise, ID, Rose O'Connor of Toughkenamon, PA and John O'Connor of Honolulu, HI.  Kathy also has 2 nieces; Halli Murray of Newtown Square, PA and Erin Murray of San Francisco, CA, one nephew; Jack O' Connor of Stateline, NV and one great nephew; Jaxon O'Connor.  Kathy is also survived by her loving and devoted partner Bill Van Hart of Reading, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her remembrance service on Tuesday August 20th, 2019 at St. Paul's Church, 1559 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, PA.  The service will be held on the lower level beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
