Katherine Stamm

Katherine M. "Kathy" (Millea) Stamm, 77, of Pottstown, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, at Pottstown Hospital, surrounded by love.

Born to the late Thomas and Mildred (Ring) Millea, Kathy was a vibrant, generous spirit whose warmth touched everyone she met. She had a heart as big as her beloved kitchen, where she found her greatest joy—cooking Italian meals for friends and loved ones. Her food was more than nourishment; it was an expression of love, comfort, and connection.

Kathy had a deep appreciation for life's simple joys. She loved country music, collecting angel figurines made of glass crystals, and studying the ever-changing faces of the moon. Her curiosity about the world was matched only by her compassion—especially for animals and nature. She was a devoted dog lover and cherished her furry companions over the years.

Passionate about education and giving back to her community, Kathy proudly served on the board of the Owen J. Roberts Education Foundation. She believed deeply in the power of learning and took great pride in helping students grow and succeed.

Those who knew Kathy will remember her for her warm laugh, her caring heart, and the way she always made you feel at home. She brought light and comfort into the lives of so many, and her absence will be profoundly felt.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Millea. She leaves behind many dear friends and extended family who will carry her memory forward with love.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church Gathering Center, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. All who knew and loved Kathy are welcome to attend and celebrate her beautiful life.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathy's name to a local animal shelter or to OJR Education Foundation
