Katarina Onufryk

Katarina "Ginger" Onufryk, 95, of Manatawny Manor Nursing Home , East Coventry Township died Monday, November 4, 2013 at the nursing home. Born in St. Clair, PA she was the daughter of the late Petro and Eva (Demetsky) Onufryk. Ginger had worked as a cashier and clerk for the A & P supermarket, formerly of Pottstown, PA for 30 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Cherry Street, Pottstown, PA Surviving is a sister Helen widow of John Pestrock of Pottstown, PA and several nieces and nephews. Ginger was pre-deceased by two brothers Paul and John Onufryk and two sisters Rose Ayres and Anna Magliocchetti. Panachida services will be Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Nicholas DeProspero, Pastor of St. John's Church officiating. Interment will be in St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Pottstown, PA . The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 – 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
