K. Elizabeth Hoffman

K. Elizabeth "Betty" Zapata Hoffman, widow of Oscar Zapata and Harry Hoffman, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Monday September 11, 2017 at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, East Coventry Township. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Elizabeth C. (Zueno) Hoffman. Betty had worked as a medical secretary for the late Dr. Ash of Pottstown, PA for 7 years and then as a salesperson at the former New York Store of Pottstown for 3 years and as a salesperson for Sears for 3 years. She was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., Pottstown, PA and was a hospice volunteer for the Visiting Nurses Association-Pottstown. She is survived by a son Mark L. Zapata of Temple, PA and a step-son Mark Hoffman of Burlington, Massachusetts and a step-daughter Roberta wife of Eugene Kisebach of Colchester, Vermont and a step-grandson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA on Friday September 15, 2017 at 1 P.M. A viewing will be from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Friday from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA prior to her Mass. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Pottstown, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to either St. Aloysius R. C.
