Julia R. Derecola

Julia R. Derecola, 95, widow of Edward J. Derecola of Grosstown Road, Stowe, PA died Sunday at her residence. Born in Stowe, PA She was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Philomena (Minotti) Magliocchetti. Mrs. Derecola had worked for the former Quality Knitting and Doehler Jarvis companies both of Stowe, PA She was a member of St. Gabriel's R.C.C. Howard & Jefferson Streets in Stowe, PA as well as the church's Ladies Club. Also, St. Gabriel's Lodge in Stowe and the former Maria Assunta Lodge of Pottstown, PA. Surviving are two sons Dominic Derecola of Stowe, PA and Anthony F. Derecola husband of Alice of Pottstown, PA . Also a daughter Sr. Maria Derecola of Somerset, NJ and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by four brothers Vincenzo, Antonio, Leonard and Benedette Magliocchetti and a sister Mary Tufani. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Gabriel's R.C.C. on Friday at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stowe, PA A viewing will be Friday from 8:30 – 10 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA .
