Juanita B. Vasas

Juanita B. (Blackner) Vasas, 80, widow of Julius E. "Duke" Vasas of Collegeville passed away on Friday February 1, 2019 at Sanatoga Court, Lower Pottsgrove Township. Born in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Coltrane) Blackner.                     Juanita was a switch board operator at Sacred Heart Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. in Pottstown, PA and had previously worked out at the Pottstown Senior Center. Surviving are two sons Michael E. Vasas husband of Diane of Collegeville and Steven G. Vasas husband of Renee Marie of Lower Pottsgrove Township. She was also pre-deceased by a son James Vasas.  She is  survived by four grandchildren Heather Laudeman wife of Kyran, Emily Vasas, Patrick Vasas and Charlie Vasas.  She is also survived by three great-grandchildren Lily, Finn and Isla Laudeman. Juanita is also survived by a brother Paul Blackner of Johnstown, PA and a sister Colleen Patrick of Maryland. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. Beech & Hanover Streets in Pottstown, PA on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at 11 A.M.  A viewing will be held in the church gathering center on Wednesday from 9:30-10:45.  Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA .
