Joyce C. Romig

Joyce C. Romig, age 89, formerly of South Coventry Township passed away Thursday March 12th at Moravian Manor in Lititz, PA. Born June 22, 1930 in Philadelphia she was the daughter of William and Grace (Melaugh) Colsher. Joyce worked for 25 years for the Owen J. Roberts School District as a library/AV aid and retired in 1993.She has been a long time member of Coventryville United Methodist Church. She and her husband Linwood were active in several community service activities including Meals On Wheels. Joyce, loving mother, grandmother and GG as she is known by her great grand children is survived by her two sons Ralph husband of Fran residing in Coventryville and Carl of Hershey, PA. Joyce is also survived by grandchildren Cynthia Haverkamp, Emma Romig, Rebecca Barlow, and Mary Romig all of the Seattle area. Douglas Romig of Birdsboro and seven great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother William Cosher and her husband Linwood with whom she shared 63 happy years. Contributions in lieu of flowers man be made in Joyce's name to Moravian Manor 300 West Lemon Street Lititz, PA 17543. A private service will be held at her interment at Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown.
