Joseph A Puc

Joseph "Joey" Puc, 65, passed away on September 29, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Theodore Puc and Dorothy (D'Innocenzo) Puc. Joey is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Hodges, his brother, Patrick Puc (Terry) as well as three nieces, Jilda Ulicny (Paul), Amber Puc, and Mary Puc, and one nephew, Theodore "Teddy" Puc. A great joy for him was also in his three surviving great nieces and two great nephews.

Joey was born in Pottstown and completed his schooling within the Pottstown School District. Many will remember his smiling face playing bingo at the former Maria Assunta Lodge or assisting them while shopping at the former Thriftway in Sanatoga. Those who knew him will remember his love of all things Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. He was a doting great uncle to his three great nieces, always looking for a chance to spoil them with candy and stuffed animals. Recently, Joey resided in a community home with Lifepath, Inc., where he was able to share his sense of humor and bond with people beyond his hometown. All those who knew Joey will miss his trips down memory lane sharing stories of his medical struggles during his youth, antics from babysitting his nieces, funny moments from his previous jobs, and random comments to just make everyone laugh.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Aloysius Church on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at 11:00AM. Interment will take place at St. Aloysius Cemetery in the 800 block of Buchert Road, Pottstown. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning in the St. Aloysius Church Gathering Center, 223 Beech Street in Pottstown, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM also on October 6th.
