Joseph J Lipko

Joseph J. Lipko Sr, 88, husband of Patricia (Kane) Lipko, passed away June 18, 2025 at the Phoenixville Hospital. Joe and Patsy recently celebrated 48 years of marriage.

He was the son of the late Joseph S. and Rosalie (Olock) Lipko. He is survived by his sister Joanne (Lipko) Marcheskie.

Along with his wife, Joe leaves behind his memories to be cherished by his children: Joseph J. Lipko, Jr. (wife Chris), Trisha Mowrer (husband James), John Covatta (wife Lori), Michelle Moreno (husband Jose), grandchildren: Ashley Lipko, Leanne Guest, Daniel Mowrer, Sean Covatta, Adam Covatta, Casey Covatta, Alyssa Moreno, Shannon Moreno, Christian Moreno. Four wonderful great grandchildren: Jace, Marceline, Miley and Riley.

Joe is predeceased by a son Robert Covatta, Jr. and grandson Nathan Mowrer.

Joe attended Pottstown High School where he played football. He was proud of his country and he served in the Army, stationed in Germany for six years. Joe loved his Corvettes. He enjoyed reading historical novels. Anyone that knows Joe knows he enjoyed shopping and buying jewelry for his loved ones.

A Mass at St. Thomas More Church, Pottstown will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow.
