Joseph W. Laubemier

Joseph W. Laubmeier, Jr., 85 widower of Marion "Ruth" (Kelius) Laubmeier of Airport Road, Limerick Township died Wednesday Janaury 30, 2013 at his daughter Cindy's residence also in Limerick Township. Born in Congo, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Ethel Mae (Humphries) Laubmeier, Sr. Joe Had worked as a die maker for Dohler-Jarvis Co. formerly of Stowe, PA for thirty-five years. He then worked for John Kennedy Ford for nineteen years until his retirement in 1993. Joe was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II having served on the U.S.S. North Carolina. He was a member of the Tri-County Bible Church 142 Buchert Road, Gilbertsville, PA . He was also a member of the American Legion and the Gablesville A.C.C. He enjoyed hunting & fishing and archery. Surviving are two daughters Carolyn R. wife of Lee Conklin of Lewes, DE and Cindy L. wife of Cyprian Peterka of Limerick, PA . He is also survived by a sister Charlotte Romahn of Florida and four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. With his wife, Joe is pre-deceased by a son Joseph W. Laubmeier III and a brother Robert Laubmeier. Funeral services will be Monday February 4, 2013 at 11 A.M. from the Tri-County Bible Church with the Rev. Lee Hallman, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Limerick Garden f Memories, Limerick, PA . A viewing will be Monday from 9 – 10:30 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Tri-County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Road, Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
