Joni Ellen Queen

Joni Ellen Queen, 64, of Douglassville, loving wife of Rodger Jay Scholle, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the Reading Hospital.  Born November 11, 1956 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Maxine (Wiles) Miller. Joni was a Daniel Boone High School graduate. She went on to Indiana Purdue University in Fort Wayne and graduated in 1992. She then went on to Arizona State where she earned her Masters Degree in Mathematics. She became a Professor at Penn State Berks.  She enjoyed gardening, playing games on her tablet, talking with her friends, keeping up with her fellow teacher friends and cooking. In addition to her husband, Rodger, she is survived by many close friends. She is predeceased by two infant sons, Mark and Carl and a brother, Gary. Services will be held at a later date.
