Jon L. Jarrett

Jon L. Jarrett, Sr., 71, of East Cedarville Road, North Coventry Township died Monday December 9, 2013 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Charles and Louise (Durrick) Jarrett. Jon had worked in the maintenance department of Wyeth Laboratories in Malvern, PA for 25 years until his retirement. He was a member and past president of the Pottstown Quoit Club, the Pottstown German Club and was an avid golfer. Surviving Jon is Mary Jane, his domestic partner of 25 years, and his children. His children include: Matthew Jarrett and his wife Michelle of Exeter Township, PA; Kristina Jarrett of Port Royal, PA; Tara Hartley and her husband Michael of New Bloomfield, PA; and Stacy Gibson of Richmond, VA and five grandchildren. Jon is also survived by a brother Thomas Jarrett and his wife Nancy of Malvern, PA and a sister Janice Jarrett of Allentown, PA. He is pre-deceased by a son Jon L. Jarrett, Jr. and a sister Carol Campanese. The family will receive friends Friday evening December 13, 2013 from 6:30-7:30 P.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA . Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
