John P. Gresko

John P. Gresko III, 66, husband of Pamela A. Dybicz-Gresko of Upper Pottsgrove Township passed away on Thursday December 4, 2014 at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late John P. & Helen (Demeter) Gresko, II . John was a self-employed orchard grower, being the owner & operator of Hillside Orchards in Upper Pottsgrove Township. He was also the operator of Pottsgrove Landscaping. He was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. Pottstown, PA. He was also a member of the Pottstown Quoit Club, The Pottstown German Club and the Spring City American Legion. John was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed being on the water. He was also fond of horseback riding and was an excellent guitar player. First and foremost John loved his orchard which he devoted his life to. Surviving with his wife are two sons John P. Gresko IV husband of Laurie of Pottstown, PA and Joseph Perry Gresko of Pottstown, PA . He is also survived by two daughters Lisa M. Gresko of Pottstown, PA and Jamie L. Gresko of Douglassville, PA and seven grandchildren. John is also survived by two brothers Jeffrey Ernest Gresko husband of Susan of Maine and Greg Gresko husband of Janice of Morgantown, PA . Funeral services will be Thursday December 11, 2014 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Stephen Paolino of St. Aloysius R.C.C. officiating. A viewing will be Thursday from 10 – 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John's name to the Montgomery County Farm, Home and 4H 1015 Bridge Road, Collegeville, PA 19426.
