John Franz

John F. Franz Jr. 77, husband of Eileen (Young) Franz of Oley, PA passed away Sunday May 28, 2017 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of the late John F. Franz Sr. and Bessie Erma (Aurand) Franz. John was the Vice President of Nuclear Operations for the PECO Energy Co. and was a member of St. Aloysius RC Church. Surviving with his wife is a son John F. Franz III and a daughter Julie wife of James Hansell and nine grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday June 5, 2017 at 10 am at St. Aloysius RC Church Beech and Hanover Sts. Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 am Monday morning in the church Gathering Center. Burial will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown, PA on Tuesday June 6, 2017. The Hoenstine Funeral Home, Lewistown will handle burial arrangements. Local arrangements by Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, Pottstown.
