A true craftsman at heart, he delighted in building televisions, clocks, and any electronic devices he encountered, showcasing his remarkable talent and inventive spirit. He was also a discerning whiskey enthusiast, appreciating the finer things in life.
John's legacy lives on in the hearts of his wife and their loving family. He is survived by his children: Nancy Janda, William Janda, Christopher Janda, Patricia Janda, and Jennifer Gadsby, along with 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Edward Janda.
A celebration of John's life will take place on Monday, December 29th, 2025.
