Joel B. Neiss

Joel Beatty Neiss, 85, husband of Jane L. (Kimble) Neiss, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Manatawny Manor.

He was a son of the late Howard and Dorothy (Beatty) Neiss.

Joel worked for trucking companies for 40 plus years, and after retirement worked at Sears. Joel was an avid collector of Winross trucks, stamps, coins, pens, pencils, hats, matchbooks, Lego's and Avon Bottles to name a few. He loved to play cards with family and friends. He loved to travel with family, and he loved to eat ice cream and hot dogs.

Along with his wife, Joel is survived by his children: Joel Beatty Neiss II (wife Renae), Thomas George Neiss (wife Lisa), Gregory Paul Neiss (wife Dawn) and Kenneth A. Lee (wife Holly). He is also survived by his two brothers, Howard Eugene Neiss and James Paul Neiss, his six grandchildren, Carissa Robles (husband Samuel), Gabrielle Neiss, Bridgette Neiss, Hannah Neiss, Teagan Lee and Coulson Lee and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander Robles, and several nieces and nephews.

Joel is predeceased by his brother, Jacques Neiss.

Joel's Memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 750 North Evans St, Pottstown PA, 19464 on June 17, 2023 at 11;00 AM. Visitation is at 10:00 AM.
