Joan M. (Foytek) Sabo, 76, widow of Robert E. Sabo passed away on Monday February 22, 2016 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Minersville, PA she was the daughter of the late Michael & Helen (Melusky) Foytek. Joan was an Executive Assistant for Kiwi Brands in Douglassville, PA. She was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. 127 East Howard Street, Stowe, PA . Surviving are two daughters Barbara A. wife of Clifford Keller of Douglassville, PA and Lara M. wife of Daniel Dilworth of Spring City, PA. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Andrea M. Abbonizio, wife of Stephen R. of Havertown, PA. Joan was a loving grandmother to Ashley (Mark), Justine (Michael), Jennifer, Joseph (Megan), Austin, Olivia and Thomas. She was a great-grandmother to Gabrielle, Mason, Jack, Mya, Ava, and Benjamin. She is survived by a sister Carol wife of Daniel Graczyk of Reading. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11 A.M. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Stowe, PA . Family & friends will be received on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:45 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the memorial fund of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. at the above address.
