Joan Frances Kalejta

Joan Frances (Deteske) Kalejta, 89, of Pottstown, passed away on October 21. Born in Kulpmont, PA, she married Thomas Francis Kalejta in 1957. He predeceased her in 2010.

Joan had been employed by the Pottstown School District in various part-time positions for almost 25 years before retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Stowe.

Joan is survived by Paul (wife Cheryl) of Boyertown, Marie Del Vecchio (husband John) of Delray Beach, Florida, and Robert (partner Donna) of Monona, Wisconsin, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by twin sons in 1958 and a son Thomas A. (wife Susan) of Pottstown in 2020.

Services will be private.
