Jean Toroney

Jean Toroney, 89, widow of Michael Toroney of Manor Care Pottstown, PA passed away on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Manor Care. Born in Earlville, PA she was the daughter of the late Gertrude (Stauffer). She had been employed as a laborer at Reynolds Manufacturing of Boyertown, PA for 30 years until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church 301 Cherry Street, Pottstown, PA. Surviving is a son Stephen Toroney husband of Barbara of Pottstown, PA .She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandson. She was pre-deceased by a son Charles Toroney and a daughter Barbara Fontana. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 17, 2016 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Nicholas DeProspero, pastor of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery. A viewing will be Monday morning from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society 480 Norristown Road, Ste 150 Blue Bell, PA 19422.
