Jason Walker

Jason Walker, 53, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Jason was born December 6, 1969, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, to the late George Brown and Barbara Walker.

He was the sixth of eight children; one preceded him in death, Dana Walker. Jason was educated in the Norristown Area High School System. Jason worked at North American Moving Company. Jason was known for his big heart and willingness to help his family whenever needed with no hesitation. He would run errands to the market for his mother, watch over his great niece and nephews, and has left a profound impact as a father by encouraging his children to lead their own way and to be their own leaders.

Jason was known for his easygoing ways, never one to make a fuss about the more minor things in life, a man of little complaints. Jason had an immense sense of humor and was naturally a comical man. Jason was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed connecting with family over a game or tailgating. He never missed an opportunity to wear his Eagles jersey to cheer for his favorite team!

Jason will be laid to rest with some of the best men of this family, his father, George Brown, his stepfather John Mayer, and his nephew Na'Shon Johnson.

Jason is survived by his loving companion of 20 years, Stephanie Richards; his children: Asia Walker, Samuel Walker, Annie Walker, and Micah Walker; his siblings: Gail Walker(Greg), Thomas Walker Sr(Mel), Michelle Gaines(John), LaVerne Handcock(Deron), Jerone Walker(Margo), India Stephens(Brian), Isaac Brown(Corrine), Preston York, Larmar Holmes, and Johnny Johnson.
