Janice A. Vasko

Janice A. Vasko, 54, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Keystone Villa, Douglassville, PA. Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of Eleanor C. (Dzurek) Vasko of Pottstown and the late Michael Vasko. Janice was a 1982 graduate of the former St. Pius X High School and a graduate of Penn State University and Harcum College. She was a research pharmaceutical analyst for Eurofins USA of Lancaster, PA. Janice was an avid equestrienne who competed in many shows.  She was an animal lover, enjoyed geocaching and had an interest in paleontology and american history. She was an avid bike rider and a published author and a writer of poetry. Surviving with her mother is a sister Mary Susan Greco wife of Ken Greco of Oceanport, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C., Beech & Hanover Streets, Pottstown, PA on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 11 A.M.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10-11 A.M. in the Gathering Center of the church.  Interment will be in St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery, North Hanover St., Pottstown, PA . In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Janice's memory to OneRunTogether and mailed to 135 Schoolhouse Lane, Coatesville, PA 19320. Contributions can also be made in Janice's memory to your local SPCA.
